BIO
Apostolos Zacharopoulos is a Game Designer living in the UK and specializing in F2P Mobile Games.
Born in Greece a long long time ago, he encountered a Space Invaders clone hidden in the depths of the family PC's hard drive. This led to a broken spacebar in the keyboard and a lifetime fascination with computer games that sprawled out to include board games and Pen and Paper RPGs.
After a brief affair with Engineering, he joined one of the first teams that attempted to produce a AAA game in Greece, as Game Designer. Although “Theseis” was exhibited twice in E3 (2005,2006) to a welcoming crowd, the effort was not completed and he left Greece to properly study Game Design in the UK.
A couple of years latter and with a First Class degree from Teesside University in Computer Games Design, he joined Aceviral and a bustling team of developers where he worked on more than 20 released games for Flash and Mobile, along with a number of other projects. He latter moved to Inertia Games Studios, were he helped develop casual games and worked on an unreleased mmorpg.
He is currently in Parergon, a brilliant casual games company located in Greece where is managing creative direction, mentoring young team members and striving to make the best games Greece has ever seen :)
